60th BIRTHDAY

December 27, 2006 was the day RICHARD turned 60 - a small milestone -- no longer belonging to the UNDER 60 GROUP any more. The Chinese DCs and the seminarians helped to make the day's festivities memorable. Last December 16, 2006 the Dawu Parish held the lighting of Christmas lights and children's christmas party. It was a night of fun for more than 130 children. They prepared well for their presentations and some were well-dressed for the occassion.
The most awaited part of the program was the count-down for the lighting of christmas lights and the apperance of Santa Claus. Children were all excited to see Santa Claus and received gifts from him.
A beautiful and giant manger added to the atmosphere of Christmas.
